 CLOC summer closure
 

Reminder to current students and new students that Coquitlam Learning Opportunity Centre (CLOC) will be closing down for summer holidays starting Monday July 20, 2020. CLOC will reopen for new registrations on Tuesday September 8, 2020.

Current students: 

  • Teachers will be available for correspondence until Thursday July 16, 2020 and will then be on summer holiday's. Teachers will return on Tuesday September 8, 2020
  • Students will be able to continue to access their course work and do assignments
  • During summer holidays students will not be able to access any assessments
  • Assessments and grading of assignments will resume after September 8, 2020

New students:
  • Registration for CLOC self-paced courses will resume Tuesday September 8, 2020

Registration for the 2020/2021 courses starting at Gleneagle night school and face-to-face is available from our Continuing Education website. We will be receiving a COVID-19 update from the Ministry of Education mid-August. We will provide updates regarding whether classes will be offered face-to-face, online or a blended model.

Coquitlam Learning Opportunity Centre (CLOC) is a drop-in learning centre that offers a wide variety of high school credit courses to help you earn your high school diploma, upgrade your post-secondary admission marks, prepare for a career change, or simply master new skills.

Monday - Friday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Monday - Thursday 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Please note: during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are available by telephone for limited hours. Phones at CLOC are answered between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday, exclusive of holidays

Collection and Return of Textbooks at CLOC during Covid-19 pandemic
During the Covid-19 pandemic, students must make an appointment to pick up or return textbooks. Please email CLOCoffice@sd43.bc.ca or call (604)945-4211 for an appointment. Collection and return of textbook appointments will be scheduled between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Parking Restrictions

Parking Note
We currently have very limited parking available!
We encourage you to consider transit or carpooling as you may have to park offsite if all spots are taken


Please note:  Vehicles may be towed by Westwood Centre if they are not parked in the proper locations.  

Reserved Continuing Education parking is available behind the building, on the south side of the property, and behind the BC Liquor Store, next to the Nissan dealership, along the eastern side of the property. 

If those spaces are not available, students are able to park in stalls 29-40. Note that the those stalls say 'Permit Required' but no permit is required for Continuing Education students.

Photo ID Needed for Taking Tests

All students in self-paced high school credit courses at CLOC must provide photo identification in order to write tests. 
Please bring photo identificiation every time you come to write a test.
